 | About Truffles Handmade Chocolates Our handmade British gourmet truffle chocolates are made from the finest continental chocolate and the purest ingredients: fresh local cream, real fruit, coffee and alcohol. We make gourmet truffles chocolates from plain, milk or white chocolate. They are filled with soft, mouth-watering fillings such as our famous coffee truffle and then rolled in a variety of coverings such as toasted coconut, vermicelli, demerara sugar and many more.

| Our Chocolates are made by traditional Chocolatiers in Cumbria, still doing all the work by hand. You will see that many Chocolates are in two colours of chocolate or coated, a process done entirely by hand. Read about how chocolate is made
We do not use any artificial Stabilisers, Emulsifiers, Preservatives or Colours. For this reason, our Chocolates must be kept in at between 15 - 18 C, in a dry atmosphere out of the sunlight.

They are best eaten within 10 days of arrival, but try not to keep them in a fridge unless it gets really hot, over 22C. Refrigeration is too cold which spoils the flavour and texture and they tend to sweat when taken out. A cool room is always best. If you are travelling by air, pack your Chocolates in the center of your luggage, rather than taking them in hand. The Cabin is frequently too hot.
